Currently- November

Today I am linking up with Farley at Oh' Boy 4th Grade for this months Currently!  I know I am a day late, but after Halloween I am surprised I am doing it at all this weekend.  Then again I do have this extra hour.

Listening: To the sound of the dryer, I don't think I could ever get through the weekend without hearing that sound.

Loving: The book fair is coming!  After school on Friday we had a chance to fill a bucket with books to add to our wish list.  Let me tell you, not having to write down the titles means that I have so many more books on my list this year.  Or perhaps it was the sugar high I was on from the candy, either way I have tons of books in the bin!  Of course any books that don't get purchased for the classroom will be purchased by me, at the warehouse sale of course :)

Thinking: Halloween is a crazy day of sugar and costumes, and we survived!!! And super bonus of no school the next day :)

Wanting: I want to have time to sit and read my book today, I have so much work to do that I doubt it will happen, but a girl can dream!

Needing: Grades closed on Friday, so I must work on my report cards, I hate report cards :(

Reading: I am currently reading Leaving Time by Jodi Picoult, I love her books! To my friends I am reading The Last of the Really Great Whangdoodles By Julie Edwards Andrews, so far it is great!

Well that's it for now, I am off to read what others are currently up to at Oh' Boy 4th Grade.

  1. I desperately want time to sew, so I totally get you wanting to have time to read. Here's to us both getting what we want today... [raises coffee mug and drinks]... Happy November!

  2. I agree, it was great not having to come to school the day after Halloween this year! October is such a busy month at my school I feel like I spend the weekends just trying to recover from the week. Good luck getting your report cards finished. That is a chore!

  3. I LOVE our Book Fair! It's such a great way to get new and beautiful books into our classrooms. I always end up spending WAY to much money, but I can't help it :) I hope some generous families purchase all of your bucket of wish listed books! Happy November!

  4. I have not read that Picoult book. I think I'll put it on my list. :) Surviving Halloween is something that only elementary teachers can really appreciate!
