A Liebster Award :)

Thank you Ashlee from Teacher Will Run for Books and Jamie from Thrilled in Third for nominating me for a Liebster Award!!! For those of you who don't know what a Liebster Award is I will tell you.  It is an award for blogs with less than 200 followers.  If you are nominated you answer 11 questions and nominate 11 more blogs.  This should let more people know about some of the newer blogs out there.  I am always humbled when someone comments on my blog post, or buys something on my TPT store, so being nominated by 2 different bloggers just blew my mind!!! I will try my best to answer the 11 questions and nominate some worthy blogs :)

1. Why and how long ago did you start blogging?

     I started blogging last January.  Back in the fall of last year my grade partner Emily from Munchkins Inc, introduced me to the world of blogging.  I got so much enjoyment from seeing other classrooms that I decided to share my classroom with the blogging world. 

2. What 1 word sums up the heart of your blog and why?

     Fun- I have Fun right in the title, I want to share the fun we have in our class with my readers.

3. Is there something you learned late in your blog journey that you wished you knew before?

     I don't think I learned anything late in my journey because I feel like I am still in the beginning of my journey.  Although I do know if you ever have a chance to go to a blogger meet up, go! I went to the New England one and had a blast.  Some of the blogs on my nomination list are New England bloggers that I have actually met.

4. What is your favorite past time other than blogging?

     I like to be outside, either riding my bike, exploring nature, or reading!

5. How many hours do you dedicate a week to your blog?

     Now that school has started most of my time has been reading blogs and creating things for my classroom.  My goal is to have at least one post up a week.

6. What category of blog post do you enjoy the most?

     I like to see classrooms in action, the good and bad.  I like to see what people have made and how it is used in a classroom setting.  I will often buy things for my room if I have seen them used in other rooms, it can be anything from a TPT product to a Target find.

7. Where does your blog inspiration come from?

     My inspiration comes from my students, they bring me so much joy that I want to share with you!

8. Which post have you written that you are most proud of?

     I am most proud of my Birthday Giveaway.  I was honored to have so many bloggers come together to help me celebrate, it really showed me what a great community this is. 

9. Is there any post you've been planning on doing but have been postponing for a while?

     I can't really think of anything right now.

10. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

     I love the community of bloggers, and sharing with everyone.

11. What recipe, project or idea on my blog would you most likely try yourself?

     I would like to put some of the elements from the Whole Brain Teaching series you do into my classroom.  I would also love to spend as much time as you do enjoying the beach.  We live in the same state, but unfortunately I am not as close to the water.
